Who Would Be The Audience For Your Media Product?
For our OTS we decided to chose the age group of 15-25 years of age. This is because it is easier to appeal to that audience as they are the age range that predominately watch the genre. Also most horror films are rated 15 and over because of the content and violence they portray.
Our OTS had the age recommendation of 15 due to no swearing being present and the violence that was shown.

We decided to do an interview to see who enjoyed our horror and who didn't. We asked a few people, two who were out of our target age range because we wanted to see how different people would react to it. Their opinions were valuable to us to ensure that we were targeting the correct age range.
Here are the questions we asked:
1. Have you watched our Opening Title Sequence? Did you enjoy it?
2. Would you change anything about it?
3. Our target audience was 15 - 25, Do you think the film appeals to you?
4. What age range do you think our OTS is?
5. Would you watch the film after seeing our OTS?
We found out from this interview that the age range we picked for our audience was just right, as the people we asked outside of this group did not enjoy the OTS as much as others.

Why our Opening Title Sequence did not appeal to ages outside of our target audience:
Our OTS did not appeal to Yvonne because she said it is not her 'cup of tea'. Yvonne was outside of our target audience so the content created was not designed to appeal to her entertainment needs; the final product would and did not appeal to Yvonne due to the context and language used. Our OTS was designed to suit our target audience and was aimed at their interests and for their entertainment. For this reason, the age groups outside of our target audience of 15-25 the Opening Title Sequence did not appeal to them and captivate their interests.
