When we first created our storyboard, we only did a rough copy as we used the storyboard format to brainstorm ideas to use as flashbacks in our opening title sequence. There are many scribbles and notes on this storyboard as we used it to check off which scenes we had already filmed and some ideas we came up with, we didn't end up using. Also in the last two boxes we started brainstorming ideas for the actual title because we weren't keen on the one we had originally come up with.
As you can see, the images aren't very clear and all of the details about camera angles, shots and timings aren't included in all of the boxes. So we decided to create a new, more detailed mind map with all of the information included, and then use the first one as a reminder when we were filming.
In the end, for our opening title sequence, we decided on having one main scene, the therapy scene which has been drawn in the first two boxes, and then lots of smaller scenes that we can put over the top to give the effect of flashbacks. We ended up with nine different flashback ideas which will flash in over the top of the therapy scene. Some of the flashbacks, including number one, two and three, were just rough ideas as, in the end, we filmed a few different shots and angles of these flashbacks and created a mini sequence to get the idea of the clip we wanted across.
